This summer we began a new program that took part for six weeks in the months of July and August. We focused on a group of kids aged between 8 and 13. This program helped the kids build confidence and develop team building skills through games and activities.
The areas of fitness we focused on were improving endurance, agility, flexibility, and strength. These were developed through rope climbs, pull-ups, box jumps, burpees, squats and many more fun movements.
The program had a great outcome, both the kids and parents had great reviews and comments. One satisfied parent commented how this was the first sport their child was excited to attend to participate, and we are happy that Kanehsatake CrossFit was able to create a fun but challenging environment for their child.
We hope to begin this program again in the near future.
